Making the Train
05:53
|
|||
It's the vines that I heard
singing
while I slept
of a train not so far
I heard it's getting late
And this chanting grew loud
'till my dreams were entwined
by some plant that evolved through
all of my wanderings
and I couldn't stay longer
I went outdoors
And the pines hunt the night
they're singing songs of grey
to the moon that I lost
in the narrow valley
ahh this trail grows inside o' me
it's like a twisted fate
it asks me
where are you going when the daylight breaks
and I said
"I travel alone today, sir, good morn"
I make my bed on the leaves at night
and I feel this traveling shows
at the back of my bones
and so I long just to head
for your summertime bed
but now you know
that fire calls the clay
come, come
come
In the heavy sun
I see the summer ghosts
and I hear
martyrs in search for the names they lost
and among them there's a man that I
once have loved
he said "Time is a' wastin'
the vultures are waiting"
but I said
"I travel alone today, sir , good noon."
I make my bed on the leaves at night
and I feel this traveling shows
at the back of my bones
and so I long just to head for your summertime bed
but now you know
that fire calls the clay
come, come
come
so strange is the way that I
think of home
like a night that is always
in a search of dawn
but I see it, I see it
I see that train
baring signs of the morning
made of tin
made of my longing
and I travel alone today, sir, good night.
---
The moon makes a curve
on the tracks -
growing herbs
and we'll roll
on the ground
'till we'll stop with no sound
and become the floor
of the jungle floor

Winter Gathering
07:55
|
|||
Here's the morning rain
it was kind enough to tell you -
sorry dear, you must be the one to
see the daylight wakes
while her face rests in you
Now you are hooked
you're not to be hasted
A river that spins inside your story
now it comes down to see if you're ready
being so caught
see her walking by
past the driveway lanterns
now it seems she found some way out
and you realize what the thief told to the joker
before they blew in the dustwinds
"sorry dear
you must be the one to....woo hoo hoo hoo"
a river that spins inside your story
now it comes down to see if you're ready
being so caught
web by web
the spiders came down the river
and a gong in the dark
lays frost on the careful grass.
they forged the shape
of a girl that you know
well, her feet walk lighter then shadows
hunters are gathering from corners
still we come closer
and I hear your voice
saying
it's time

Getting Older
04:01
|

Mother meets you
in a garden full of roses, son
she says summer went crazy
and she's not the only one
and each of these roses
must follow it's fate on his own
At least i got you son
so i'm not the only one
Getting older
Getting older
gettingoldergettingoldergettingolder
I've been old all along
I've been old all along
I've been old all along
My mother meets you
In a lavender field near Tibet
she says summer went crazy
but we haven't fallen yet
ahh this wind's blowing soft
and still offers you time to come back
to her
So don't ponder on misdeeds
and answer this call
from your nest
Getting older getting older........
Mother meets you and she tosses her crown
at your feet
Says what you're describing
is nothing but your own defeat
And all of this madness
is all but just something to hide from.
we're not here to find a solution
but to find one another
Getting Older.....
I've been old all along and I feel
all the ways that I made in myself to conceal
and I was tempted or hunted by sounds of the earth
and they told me to go
but then
will I ever come back

Jungle Mumble
03:21
|
|||
My mother was the sea
and my father was a hitch-hiker
behind ridges
that she and her foams
never saw
They made love at the junction
of four hundred rivers that roar
they slept on the carpets
of the overwhelmed shore
My hands are pouring Marlines
the currents of the Marlines oh....
and this melody
is eaten by seaweeds and ghouls
I'm dropping the ocean
all over your carpets oh
returning the salt
to the wounds of the floor
Where do you go
my dear son
I hear that
You're going away
where to?

Midsummer Barn Owls
05:03
|
|||
I got up at that night
and I turned sober
I woke up at once
and she'll make you love
and she'll make you true invisible
then she'll take you by her side
fly....
All lights are visible
whatever your soul is searching for
and she'll take you through the courtyards
in the dark
did she lay your head in the clouds
making everything light
but her claws,
gripping tight all you are
barn owl my soul follows
in the dark
your trail my soul follows
in the dark
barn owl my soul follows
in the dark
your trail my
soul follows
I got up at that night
and I turned sober
I woke up at once
and she'll make you love
and she'll make you true invisible
then she'll take you through her night
fly...fly...
All roofs are similar
and as to your home
she shows a no care
but she'll take you through the courtyards
in the dark
did her flight came sudden and harsh
when she came just to tear you apart
silent feathers
reap you softly
Barn owl, my soul follows.....
